How To Buy Fair Trade

A word about our packaging…
Our jewellery and Pina scarves come in a free presentation box made from 100% recycled boxboard with a content of 90% post consumer waste.
 
We and our producer groups are environmentally responsible, and as standard we recycle and re-use the packaging we receive in the UK and from the Philippines to pack your order, whenever possible.
 
If you would prefer not to receive jewellery and scarf items in re-used packaging materials as the outer packaging, please just check the No box before clicking on the Continue button, when you check out.
 
Ordering
Click on the product picture or name of the item you want to purchase, select the size and colour from the drop down menu if these options are available and then click the Add to Cart button, which is immediately below Our Price at the bottom of the page.
 
Where items are available in different sizes and prices, Our Price will automatically update to show the corresponding price when you make your selection from the drop down menu.
 
A summary of Your Shopping Cart is displayed every time you add an item to it. From here you get the chance to confirm that what you have bought is correct, and easily remove any unwanted items, which will help prevent incorrect orders being placed
 
If more than one single item is required (e.g. 4 placemats), you can manually change the quantity from here (click on the Update Cart box afterwards), which will automatically multiply the price by the number you enter, and save you from having to add the items to your cart individually.
 
You can choose to Continue Shopping or, once you have completed your purchases and are happy with everything in Your Shopping Cart, you can select your Delivery Method, which will automatically show the cost of your chosen delivery method and add it to the items you want purchase, and then you can Checkout.
 
Orders outside of the UK
For orders placed from outside of the UK we are only able to accept payments made by credit card through our website and deliver to your billing address.
 
Please ensure you check our postal and courier details and prices first, before placing your order (see International Standard Delivery below) otherwise, if you cancel your order and require a refund, the payment gateway you used to pay for your order, i.e. Google Checkout, Moneybookers, Nochex and PayPal may deduct payment fees or we may have to deduct bank charges, and you might not receive the whole amount that you paid, when we return your money to you.
 
Checking Out
You can check out by clicking on Checkout in the black rectangular box or by using the Google Checkout button, just below.
 
If you use the Checkout box simply enter your email address and password and click on the Continue with Checkout button and then enter your billing and delivery details and click the Continue button.
 
If you decide to shop with us again you will only need to enter your login details without having to enter all of your other details again.
 
*Please note: A signature will be required for next day delivery so please ensure that someone will be in at the delivery address provided when the parcel is delivered.
 
We haven’t made it mandatory for you to provide us with your contact telephone number, but in the event of a problem, this may help us to rectify the matter more quickly. All fields marked with * are mandatory.
 
Then just let us know whether you are happy to receive jewellery and scarf items in re-used packaging materials as the outer packaging. If you would prefer not to, please just click the No box before clicking the Continue button. All other products are in a wide range of shapes and sizes and we manually cut and make the boxes to fit the order using the packaging we receive.
 
You will then be taken to the Order Summary page and Payment Options where you can select your preferred payment method.
 
If you checkout using Google Checkout you can sign in to your Google account or enter your details to create a Google Account to complete your purchase.
 
Ways to Pay
You can pay online easily and securely using your credit/debit card via Moneybookers, Nochex and PayPal or using Google Checkout. You can also make payment by BACS bank transfer or cheque.

Solo – Delta - Visa Electron – JCB – Diners Club
 
Google Checkout and NoChex only accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo.
 
We do not receive or hold your credit card details. All credit card transactions processed are via our web hosting company and are fully SSL encrypted and secure and we guarantee that every transaction you make at our shop will be 100% safe.
 
If you choose to pay via bank transfer (BACS) just select this method to complete your order and our bank details will be shown, and then contact your bank to arrange the transfer of the payment to our account. Please ensure you reference your order number.
 
If you prefer to pay by cheque just select this method to complete your order and post your cheque to us, made payable to amba nature. Please ensure you quote your order number on the reverse of the cheque. We can only accept cheques drawn on a UK bank account.

Delivery
 
We will endeavour to despatch your order within 3 to 4 working days of receiving your payment, usually same day or next, although we cannot guarantee this. If there is any delay we will email you to let you know when it will be dispatched. If delivery of your order is urgent please contact us.
 
Free UK Standard delivery for orders over £100

UK Next Day Services £6.00
 
Standard delivery takes 3 to 5 working days after we despatch your order.
 
A signature is required for next day delivery so please ensure that someone will be in at the delivery address provided when the parcel is delivered.
 
International Standard Delivery
 
Europe £18.00                    £12.00 until Christmas
Rest of World £25.00           £16.50 until Christmas
 
Delivery to Europe takes 3 to 5 working days after we despatch your order, and 5 to 7 days for Rest of World.
 
When you receive your package you will be responsible for any Customs fees and import duties in the country it is sent to.
 
For orders placed from outside of the UK we are only able to accept payments made by credit card through our website and deliver to your billing address.
 
Returns and Exchanges

We focus on sourcing quality fair trade products and we and our partner producers want you to be completely happy and satisfied with your purchases. We realise that when making a purchase from an online shop, that it’s possible that the product you receive may sometimes not be reflected well on the website you bought it from.
 
If you are not satisfied with any of the items you ordered, simply return it to us with the advice note invoice for a prompt and courteous refund, or exchange it for a replacement. On the back of the advice note invoice please tell us why you are the returning the item, so that we rectify the matter quickly.
 
We are only able to receive and make balance payments for returned and exchanged items by bank transfer (BACS) or cheque.
 
Due to health and hygiene we can only return refunds on earrings if the seal has not been broken and they have not been taken out of the packet.  Earrings will be enclosed in the free presentation box in their packet.
 
We are unable to refund the cost of returning the goods to us, but the postal charge for sending a replacement to you is free.
 
When returning an item we recommend that you use a registered postal service and obtain proof of postage, so you that you can make a claim if the parcel is lost.

Product Availabilty
A number of our products are limited meaning there may only be one or two of those items, and all offers are subject to availability and while stocks last. If a product is out of stock it will remain showing on the website with Sorry, this item is out of stock in place of Our Price at the bottom of the page.
 
We currently don’t have a wish list function but, if you see a product that is out of stock that you would like us to restock please just let us know by email at info@ambanature.co.uk or using the MailForm on our contact us page, and whether you would like to be notified when it is back in stock. We will try our best to restock wanted items however we can’t promise that we will able to do this.

We’d like to make friends with people who care about what we do, and as well as selling from our online shop we’re looking to reach other similarly motivated retail outlets with a view to converting them into being long-term buyers of fair trade products, and our beautiful and stylish fair trade homeware and gorgeous jewellery and accessories are available at trade prices to high street and internet retail shops to compliment and enhance your existing product ranges.
